After his retirement from an extended career in Major League Baseball, Jason Christiansen's passion for a better light became more than just a garage hobby when he started the search for the best light option while building his Polaris Ranger. When introduced to new innovative forward projecting LED technology, Jason realized this technology was a game changer in the offroad lighting industry. Everyone at the time thought the idea of a square and rectangular light would not fly. Despite the initial reactions of some around him, he began the challenge of building the company. In 2006, Jason turned his hobby into a business which later became Rigid Industries LED Lighting.

As the company grew, focus moved to manufacturing, distribution, and sales which took Rigid Industries to a whole new level developing a worldwide distribution model that today distributes in 43 countries around the world. Rigid Industries take pride that their products are designed, engineered, and manufactured in the USA. Rigid Industries has seen extremely fast paced growth as a leader in forward projecting lighting and it is approaching its 10th year in business.
